A Vision for Christ Beyond Our Borders
Displaying one’s identity in Christ clearly goes beyond an emblem stuck to the back of their car; it embodies a way of life. The Kingdom of the Heavens is clearly at hand, and within reach of everyone who is willing to substitute his or her will for God’s, for a reward far beyond what we would dream of for ourselves (Matt. 6:33). This ministry goes beyond our borders to places where Christ is not generally known. By purchasing the Identity in Christ emblem, not only do you show your community what is most important in your life, you also lend assistance to men and women who are dedicated to the fulfillment of the Great Commission through various ministries, including Y-Malawi, Finishing The Task, The Grove Center for the Arts and others.
Y-Malawi is a group of churches in the USA who have partnered with 5 dynamic Christian organizations in Malawi to create and test a revolutionary new model for development relief and missions. Together, they have focused on a group of villages comprising over 50,000 residents called NKhoma, located in one of the poorest regions of the country. The project has been launched and has big goals including sponsoring 2,500 children in the initial phase. Mission Trips have followed with church members and students working alongside the local ministry partners and the people of Nkhoma.
Finishing the Task is an outreach ministry that is dedicated to reaching the remaining Unengaged, Unreached People Groups (UUPGs). As of today, there are currently 639 of these groups in the world, each over 100,000 members strong.
The Grove Center for the Arts was founded to create a national network of artists in the Church to support Christian arts and artists. With the recently launched grovefilms.com, an online short film repository equipping the church with meaningful, multimedia experiences and CreativEdge, a rapidly growing network of local Christian artists, The Grove Center for the Arts is poised to change the face of the arts in America for the future.
While we are small now, we are thinking big, and intend to introduce new products and to support new ministries as we grow and honor God with the fruits of our efforts.
